Today, I will talk about a job search technic that I created. You can’t have a powerful network if you’re new in Canada. So you should use my excellent job finding technique!! Yey🙋♂️🙋♂️ You can call it “MapJobSurf”.
Let’s learn How it works.
1- Open your Google maps 🗺
2- Search the word about your profession.
For example, if you’re Electrical engineer you should write “automation”, “telecommunications”,… something like that because companies name have relationships with those words
For lawyers “lawyer”, “law”, “law office”… 👩⚖️👨⚖️
For Dentists “dentist”, “dentist office”, “health”, “dental”, “denture”… 👩⚕️👨⚕️
For civil engineer “construction”, “building”, “fabric” 👷♀️👷♂️
For hairstyles “hair”, “hairstyles” 💇♀️💇♂️
3- Click for information about the companies
4- Look at their website and take notes about the company
5- Create an email for each company and each email has to be special for the company. You should explain why you choose this company.
For example, “I found your company on the internet and I’m interested in your company because I worked for this job previously and I have experience.”
Example mail;
Hi GBC,
I found your company on the internet and I’m interested in your company because I worked fot this job previously and I have experience. I want to work with you. I attached my resume. To talk with me about the position, please email.
